ORdering Overview

At Crooked Creek Meats, product is available approximately 10 months of the year. We run occasional unadvertised specials, which includes smaller bundles of mouth-watering beef or beef and pork combo packages. Below we'll walk you through your options and the steps in the ordering process. 


Larger quantities, such as Split Quarters, Beef Halves, Whole Beef, and Half hogs are available by Reservation only and deposits are required. All deposits go toward the bottom line.

We have butcher slots 10 months out of the year with multiple quality local butchers; sometimes the lines are long, order ahead to get your preferred month of delivery.

Smaller bundles are regularly replenished and available at the farm. ALL meat is handled frozen, vacuum packed and inspected for your safety.

Step 1: Select your size

Beef is available in quarters, sides, whole by reservation. Smaller bundles are for sale from our freezers at the Crooked Creek Beef farm. See our small bundle lineup here on the website or at our online store, pay at pickup on Farm Day Market first and third Thursdays from Noon - 6 PM. Grab and go pickup by appointment during business days, some weekend pickup dates by appointment.

If you are not sure how much you need, or want to know what's included in each of the options click here. Consider the purchase of a smaller trial bundle if you have any concerns that your taste buds and our quality standards will not align.

 

STEP 2: Complete the reservation form

STEP 3: Mail/Call your Credit Card to deposit

If ordering a quarter ($150 deposit), side ($300 deposit), or whole beef ($600 deposit), send your check to: 

Crooked Creek Beef - 684 Phelan Rd. Pacific, MO 63069. Credit card phone deposits can be made as well. Farm office is 314-805-7723 to place that credit card deposit after your online reservation has been made.

If ordering a smaller bundle, please plan to pay in full at pickup. Pickup ready dates are at Farmer’s Market on first and third Thursdays each month from noon-6 PM at the address above.

 

STEP 4: select your cuts

When ordering a side/half of beef from Crooked Creek Beef you have the option to customize your order. About the time your Beef heads to the Butcher, you will communicate directly with the processor on the thickness of your steaks, roasts, quantity of ground beef, portions per package and more. Step 5: Pick Up Your Beef/Pork

Shopping at the farm freezers: (SMALL BUNDLES) We have put in place THREE days each month, our own FARM MARKET at the farm just south of Pacific. On the first and third Thursdays of each month,(AND one Sat per month, see above) join us at the Farm Freezers for specials on Beef, pork and Chicken as well as other local farm specialties like eggs, honey, jams, jellies, sauces, salsa and more. Drop by the Farm between noon and 6 PM for unadvertised specials! Quantities from 5 to 50# available, order and pay in advance or simply drive in to our 684 Phelan Road, Pacific location.

Beef Quarters are processed by one of our two local USDA/MO Inspected local butchers, so your QUARTER BEEF pickup instructions will offer pickup from the Farm Freezers directly (684 Phelan Road, Pacific) or a delivery option for minimal fee to your home. Our email correspondence will make detail options clear after Beef has gone to the Butcher.

 Beef Sides, and whole beef orders will be picked up from our award-winning processor in East Central MO. We will keep you in the loop on processing dates and details via the email address you supply us with your order. Simply watch for correspondence from us with more details. With limited Butcher slots, the bottleneck continues to be at the Butcher. Orders are filled in the order they come in. Delivery is available for a nominal fee.

Pork Halves/whole: We have a local drug/antibiotic free Pork Partner with scheduled Spring and fall butcher slots available at our Butcher Partner. We offer Pork halves or whole, cut our way, with pickup at the Farm Freezers at 684 Phelan Road, Pacific, or delivery to your door at a nominal fee by appointment.

 Whole Fryer Chicken: now USDA whole fryers are available while supplies last. $16 for whole birds, 4.5# to 5# average, free range, drug free and USDA inspected/processed, handled frozen. From our local poultry partners.
